The sugar world has been gaining momentum in main stream media. There have been multiple talk shows doing exposes on mutually beneficial relationships.
Shows such as 20/20 and TheTyra Banks Show have featured episodes on sugar babies. Most of which fail to capture the true essence of being a sugar baby.
Lets face it, being part of sugar land requires discretion. I don’t think that my SD would reward me with a shopping spree after I have told most of America about our relationship.
Discretion is important, especially if your SD is married. It is one of the key components of cultivating and nurturing this relationship. Keeping things confidential and going the extra step when it comes to protecting your SD’s privacy will go a long way.
Some things to keep in mind when with a married sugar:
– Know when it is a good time for calling/texting – Most of them will spend their weekends with the Mrs. and kids, so keep the texting to a minimum.
- When scheduling dates with your married SD be aware of your surroundings. Pick a location that is not too busy and away from his job or home.
- Have a story – Sometimes even the best of plans fails. Agree on a story as to why you and your SD are in a particular place. If you do happen to run into someone you know there will be no ackward silence. My favorite story is that my SD is a mentor for young professionals.
- Keep the PDA to a minimum – Allow your SD to set the pace as to what is allowed when in public. One SD may be OK with the ocassional kissing and touching, where as another will shy away from holding your hand.
Remember, as an SB it is your responsibility to ensure that your SD is taken care of and his privacy is protected. These small tips will go a long way in getting his trust and ultimately in more perks.
